	True Blood Times Two...Kevin Fishers' "10 Year High School Reunion" and The Mears Brothers "Blame It On The Fact That I'm A Man" can be heard on this smash hit HBO series Sunday PM, July 11 th.
	Shut Up Already was heard on a new episode of BURN NOTICE on July 1st...congrats to Craig Bartock and Cathleen Weinrich..
	Vampire Alert: This June you can get your True Blood fix and hear great country songs at the same time--on June 13th, tune in to hear Sean Patrick McGraws "A DRINK WITH HANK" and Steve McComb's "NO ONE BUT THE DAWG." Then, the following Sunday, you'll get another chance to hear Steve McComb's "WALK FIRST" which aired in the 2nd season.
	Make It Or Break It: ABC Family's hit teen series about gymnastics will feature the song "ROCK STAR" by "Dirty Children" on June 28th.
	Pretty Little Liars: Based on the teen book series, this Warner Bros. show on ABC Family will have two songs by two of our artists on June 15th -- "SWEET 17" with their infectious pop/dance song "SUPABEAT"(from the CD of the same name) and "JOSEPHINE" (produced by We 3 Kings withThe Music Kitchen) doing her upbeat pop tune "AVALANCHE."
	Rock Wilk put one through the hoop for another episode of Basketball Wives on VHI. His hip hop track " Tongue Tied" will be heard on May 16th.
	JJ Harvey strikes again with his song, sung by the amazing David Hawkes, "Come Back To Me" for the new Indy feature film, "Wild About Harry" which goes to Cannes this month.
	CHRISTMAS IN APRIL: We just learned that the daytime drama, "As The World Turns," CBS, played songs from our holiday catalog on 12/24/09...24 cues in all. 	April 28th is the premiere of the new ABC TV mystery drama "Happy Town" and you'll hear Scooter Pietsch's haunting carousel music "Vienna Blood"--mmmwwaaahahaha! Great job as always, Scooter!
	Justin's Coming Out--and they'll be dancing to Edgard Jaude's fantastic "Party Up Boyz" on Ugly Betty this Wednesday, April 7th to get that party started! Tune into ABC for all the fun.
	The new VH1 series, "Basketball Wives," will feature female rapper "Sky" on its first episode -- with her song "Like My Style" airing April llth. Then, on episode #2, which airs April 19th you'll hear Christina S singing "Dance My Life Away."
	April is showering us with great song placements -- On "The Young & The Restless," Joel Evans has 4 songs (6 uses) on two upcoming episodes: On Friday April 3rd, you can hear his songs "Maybe It's You" and "No Easy Way To Say Goodbye," then on Monday April 5th, you'll get to listen to his songs "I'll Never Be The Same" and "Watercolor Lov.e" The songs are all being danced to at a Masquerade Ball that's part of the plot...

	The Film Independent Spirit Awards will be broadcast on March 5th on the IFC and will featuresongs "Life Design" and "Louder Than Bombs" by The Parlotones. Both songs will be put on a compilation CD that's given to the attendees. Congratulations to Kahn Morbee (who wrote The Parlotones songs) and their band members.
	Jo C's party dance song "Beat To The Rhythm" is part of the fun at spring break in a new episode coming up on ABC Family's "Greek". The mighty songwriting team, We3Kings, comprised of Bill & Walter Brandt and Keith Volpone, created this Lady Gaga type number.
	You'll hear John J Harvey's "Metal Is Dead" in the Season Finale of Accidentally On Purpose, the hit CBS sitcom, airing Monday, February 22nd.
	Its a man's world...at least on Men of A Certain Age, it is. A song by the very unique World group, TUKULEUR, will be heard in an episode of MOACA February 15th on TNT. "Le Swing Du Ghetto" was written and performed by Oumar Sall, William Camara and Christian LaChenal.
	Canadian Christopher Pennington has two songs coming up on The Young & The Restless-- Feb 9th, his "Three Ships" will liven up an Irish pub, and a romantic French jazz song called "Quand la Lune Veille" (co written and sung by Danielle Roblechaud) can be heard on February 15th.
	Everybody Loves George Kahn: Jazz Pianist George Kahn will have two uses of his Dave Bruebeck stye song "Wes Coast" on the new Ray Romano series "Men Of A Certain Age". The show will air February 1 on TNT.
	PLAY ON! The fabulous alt rock band from South Africa, THE PARLOTONES, will be featured on the CBS long running series, "Ghost Whisperer", this coming Friday night, January 15th. You'll hear their song called "Play On"...check the band out at myspace/theparlotones
	Here's the Holiday schedule for IFMP songs on The Young & Restless after the ones on the 17th: On Dec. 22 you'll hear Johnny Douglas Jr. singing his original song "Snowman", followed by three of Steve Glotzers' acoustic instrumentals "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "Oh Come Emmanuel" and "Away in a Manger. Don't touch that dial because you'll also hear Scooter Pietsch's "Family & Sleigh Bells" along with Fawn and Vince Covello's version of "Angels We Have Heard on High." On the 23rd of December, the instrumentals include Sharon Farber with "Hark The Herald Angels Sing", "Away in A Manger" and "Deck The Halls" from Steve Glotzer; and Joel Evans brings us a vocal version of "What Child Is This." We'll get to hear Smokin Jazz versions of "Deck The Halls" and "Joy To The World" from Dominick Serpico again on December 24th, followed by Steve Glotzer's "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "O Come All Ye Faithful". Same day, Geoffrey Keezer's "Angels Did Swing" will keep you listening and watching the show and at the very end, a beautiful rendition of "Silent Night" arranged by Sharon Farber and sung by Jacob Mitchell. After you've eaten your figgy pudding and tossed out the boxes, Y&R gives us two more from Scooter Pietsch on the 28th of Dec..."Gift Wrap" and "Snow Surprise." Rounding out the holiday music on Y&R was Michael Kisur singing his original song "Christmas Dream."

	'Tis the season and we wish all of you very Happy, Healthy Holidays! The Young and The Restless have once again chosen some great songs for their holiday episodes from our catalog: On December 10th, you can hear Dominick Serpico's Smokin' Jazz Orchestra do versions of Deck The Halls and Joy To The World. On December 17th, you'll hear Michael Kisur singing a Kool Kat version of Jingle Bells arranged by Michael and Edgard Jaude. Also on that day Steve Glotzer's acoustic version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" will be on the show, along with two songs sung by Jeff Meegan -- "Seasons of Love" and "All I'm Waiting For." Jeff wrote "Seasons of Love" and Brad Hatfield is his co-writer on "All I'm Waiting For."
	Not at all unlucky Friday the 13th--at least not for Celebutante, whose song "Superstar" will be featured on the long running hit series MONK on NBC this coming Friday. Another special thanks out to Craig Pettigrew.
	Y&R is having a big wedding and 3 songs from IFMP will bring the romance to the ever unfolding events. On November 13th, you'll hear "LET THERE BE LOVE" from Orbit Monkey (written by Joerg Kohring). November 16th, Johnny Douglas' song 'I THINK OF YOU" will add to the show's mood...and last but not at all least, on November 19th, closing the episode is Chris Carpenter's beautiful "ONE AND ONLY."
	The Polish Brothers' (The Astronaut Farmer) have licensed "Backporch Bluegrass Rag" for their new film "The Smell of Success" (fna 'Manure'). Crew 22's Tommy Hannum (artist), Rodney Lawson and John Mattick are the songs writers. The comedy stars Billy Bob Thornton and Tea Leoni. Special thanks to David Powell of The Music Bridge. The film is slated for a November release.
	Congratulations to Above Envy's Louis Yolin, whose instrumental "Georgia Peach Pie" was used in early Oct on "The Young & The Restless."
	The ever prolific Edgard Jaude had another placement on ABC Family's "Greek" with his intoxicating club/dance song "Electric Body."
	The new season of UGLY BETTY is upon us and the 2nd episode, airing on ABC, Friday night 10/23, will feature Una Cartina and Noctambule by Thomas Foyer (of Painted Coconuts & Intended Immgration) and Peter Roberts' ambient "Love's Not Waiting". 	It can happen In A New York Minute: CBS hit series, CSI NEW YORK, is using THE DAMN AUTOMATICS song "NEW YORK MINUTE" in their promos to launch their Fall '09 campaign. A Big Apple wahoo to songwriter Jason Weeks and his band! Check it out on YouTube.
	The second episode of EASTWICK will be hotter than hot with the song "CALI CALIENTE" by Sweet 17 being featured in a scene where those witchy gals will be enjoying some martinis. Catch the show Sept. 30th on ABC. Congrats to writers Scooter Pietch, Jessica New and Danielle DeAndrea...Sweet 17's CD, "Supabeat," is terrific.
	How excited are we? Oui! Oui! Oui! The fabulous song by Thomas Foyer called "Un Plat Qui Plait" will be heard on the Premiere Episode of the new CBS Comedy (starring Jenna Elfman) 'ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE'. Si Bon! Please watch the show on Monday night September 21st.
	Well, for those of you who couldn't get enough 10 years ago, MELROSE PLACE, is BAAAAACCK and on the CW. This time around, I get to proudly announce that the song "Flowers in June" by the talented Matt Shapiro will be heard on the show, Tuesday, Sept. 15th. Matt has a really great voice, so please tune in. (I used to page all the Drs in the hospital on the original series...did you hear your name called out?)
	August 18th, the Season Finale of the new TNT series "Hawthorne" (starring Jada Pinkett Smith) will feature a song by The Queens called "EVERYBODY'S ON THE DANCE FLOOR". We salute W3Kings writers, William Brandt, Walter Brandt and Keith Volpone for their fine work taking us back to the 80's.

	On August 4th "Girls Love Shoes" had another placement on the MTV's series "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" with the song "LIVING IN LUXURY". Adding to the "Girls Love Shoes" placements, their song "FLAUNT" will be heard on the new hit series "10 Things I Hate About You" on ABC Family August 25th. Kudos to Nadia Fay and Jay Condiotti.

	Here's two things we like about the new ABC Family Series "10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU"-- the episode that airs on July 21st features Nadia Fay's song "Insecurity" and Above Envy's pop anthem "Revolution". Props to both Nadia and Louis Yoelin on these placements!
	Edgard Jaude is two for two this month (July 7 & July 23rd) with hard rock cues on USA's BURN NOTICE in two different episodes. 	If you love Paris Hilton and want to be her best friend forever, then catch Nadia Fay's songs "FLAUNT" and "Come and Get Your Ride", and Celebutante's song "SUPERSTAR" this July on MTV's Paris Hiltons BFF.
	The sun is shining, but Samantha Newark and Johnny Douglas Jr's song "RAINY DAY GIRL" has a placement on ABC Family's "10 Things I Hate About You" on August 4th. If her name sounds familiar, Sam is the voice of "Jem" on the cartoon series "Jem and The Holograms". Props to these two gifted artists!
	IFMP has 4 songs in the Lifetime/Sony TV telefilm THE NATALEE HOLLOWAY STORY which premieres on April 19th. Congratulations to Edgard Jaude for his electronica track "Wherever"; the amazing Dance song in French by Fawn called "I Love Paris", Johnny Elkins and Peter Robert's "Aint No Rush" which is another terrific dance song and the Latin number by Tanga! called Carlitos Ceballos Live.

	How to start off the New Year right!: ABC Hit series, "UGLY BETTY" will feature "Blue Tuesday", an electronica song by Peter Roberts. The episode will air on January 8th.
	Happy Holidays: Daytime Drama, The Young and the Restless, is featuring holiday music on two episodes, airing 12/22 and 12/30. These include Darryl Purpose and Mary Sue Twohy's "Gift of the Magi", Fawn and Laswell's arrangement of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" along with six PD instrumentas by acoustic guitar virtuoso, Steve Glotzer.
	The holidays are going to be hot hot hot when Paco's reggaeton song "Ding Dong" is heard on the new Overture Films Feature "Nothing Like The Holidays" opening December 12th. The film stars Deborah Messing and John Leguizamo. The song will also be released on the film's soundtrack along with with some other hotties, including Ricky Martin.
	Brotherly Love With their new CD due out this November, its only fitting the The Bacon Brothers have landed a placement on NBC's FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS with their song "STRUNG OUT" from their album, "Getting There". The show will air on Direct TV on Nov. 5th and will be seen on NBC in Feb., '09. Congratulations to Kevin and Michael.
	Ooh Lala... Check out Les Young and Les Restless on Wed, Oct 1 to hear Fawn singing her electronica ode to l'amour, "French Kiss". Mixed and produced by Danny James McCarthy- C'est manifique!

	Everybody Dance Now Director/Writer/Producer Jeff Fishers' feature film "Killer Movie" includes four fantastic dance/power pop songs from the IFMP catalog. 	GREEK SEASON 2 ABC Family's hit series "Greek" begins again on August 26th and the first episode of the season kicks off with "My Bottom", written by Johnny Elkins and Mark Scott McKinney and performed by "Aleesha". This is a featured song with a choreographed dance/lip sync from the "naughty" sorority girls. The following episode of Greek will have Above Envy's "Shy Girl", by writer Louis Yoelin, in a party scene. Louis is doing really well with recent placements on The Young and The Restless and an upcoming feature "Killer Movie."
	Sweet 17 On "Burn Notice" Asking the musical question "Do You Want It, Baby", the superbeat sounds of Sweet 17 (Jessica New, Danielle DeAndrea and producer Scooter Pietsch) will be heard on the USA Network series "Burn Notice," which is starting its second season. The episode airs Thurs, July 24th and also features one of our favorite actresses, Ms. Sharon Gless.
	Celebrating the 4th with the Young and The Restless Two of Louis Yoelins' songs will be featured on this Friday's episode of Y&R: The Word and Suicidal Queen. It's good to be Independent!
	Jaude To Be In Pictures... Vampire show Moonlight's "Darker Side of Life" producer Edgard Jaude gets a cut on Living Lohan, E! Network's reality show on pop singer Lindsey Lohan's family and their own kind of demons. Jaude also has cuts coming up in Real World Hollywood, and MTV's Making The Band.
	More days like these, please: Rapper FIASCO has landed a placement on ABC Family's hit series "Greek" with his song "Days Like These", co-written by producer Eliot Waldhorn of E5 music. The show airs on Monday, May 26th.

	New Amsterdam News If you haven't seen the new Fox series "New Amsterdam", it's about a very cool guy who simply can't die... he's looking good at about 400 years old. Episode #103 featured Edgard Jaude's "ELECTRIC BODY" in a fashion shoot--proving EJ is pretty unstoppable too.
	The Hip Hop music of ER Inc. can be heard on multiple episodes of MTV's "Making The Band". ER Inc is Edgard Jaude, Rafael Torres, Garrett Wesley, Robert Roman and Kevin Davis. If you missed an episode, they re-run them all week long.

	Well, Bite My Neck! Edgard Jaude has landed another plum placement, this time on the new CBS drama about Vampires... "MOONLIGHT". You can hear his song "Darker Side of Life" on Friday PM, November 2nd. The series is produced by Warner Bros.
	Bacon Brothers IFMP is pleased to annouce that The Bacon Brothers, Kevin and Michael Bacon will join the roster of artists represented. . The blue-eyed duo is working on their fourth CD and touring in the US. Michael Bacon is an Emmy Award-Winning composer. He's also had songs recordeed by artists from Jerry Lee Lewis to Perry Como. Kevin Bacon is best known for his vast acting career which includes roles in movies from the 1984 hit Footloose to his Screen Actor's Guild Nomination for Murder In the First.
	Blonde Ambition meets a Beautiful Day Songwriter Steve Bauman and his band STRETCH NICKEL can tell their folks they got a song in a Jessica Simpson movie...the film is "Blonde Ambition" a remake of "Working Girl", for Millennium Films. The song is "BEAUTIFUL DAY"....

IFMP Signs Deal with Pop Icons Berlin
IFMP welcomes Berlin, featuring singer Terri Nunn and writers Darren Brown, Mitchell Sigman, Chris Olivas, Lara Peterson and Myke Smith. Terri will also be guest starring in an episode of the new MTV series "KAYA" to air in the late fall.

Yeehaw y'all, 'cause Nashville writers, Carey Moore and Marty Buchanan, landed their song "I Thought I Was A Stud (til she got her nails in me)" in the feature film called "JOLENE" based on the novel by E.L. Doctorow, for Next Turn Productions.

They Got The Beat
Eliot Waldhorn of E5 Music, as well as writers Dave Pezzner and Bob Hansen, have landed multiple placements on the second season of Court TV's "LA FORENSICS". We love that about them!

It's Revenge Kills (and then Kills Name...)
Orange County Indy Band "Its Revenge" has landed a placement on the hit Canadian teen series "DeGrassi" with their song "Kill Your Radio". Since the placement, It's Revenge has changed their name to The Damn Automatics.

Lash Eyeing Success
Lash has landed in the new ABC Family series "GREEK" with their song "Do You Want It, Baby". The series will start airing this summer. Congrats to writers Scooter Pietsch and Jessica New along with singer, Danielle Gaha.

It's No Wonder To Us!
HBO on Demand has licensed "No Wonder" by ACID HICKS to be used in a short film called HOD:The Watcher. It will air on June 14th and also on the HBO website. Cover Girl
SHARON FARBER has received a lot of attention recently for her acclaimed score in the film When Nietzsche Wept, and now she's the first woman composer to grace the the cover of Film Music Magazine.

She was also recently commissioned by The Israel Symphony Orchestra to compose a new orchestral work for their 2007 season.

Jack Viper Strikes
UK rockers "Jack Viper" have two songs coming out in the new horror film "Zombie Wars"...songs are "Spider To The Fly" and "G. F. Y.". The British foursome has a new video coming out as well.

The holidays were a little merrier with a track from Steve Bauman "12 Days of Christmas" and an arrangement of by Sharon Farber sung by the incredible Adam Lambert, both on NBC's "PASSIONS", as well as an arrangements she did of "Oh Holy Night" and "Silent Night" for Mercer Mall.

Kicking off '06, FIASCO's song "Its Going On" aired on INSTANT STAR (the DeGrassi High School spinoff). The song was co-written by Eliot Waldhorn and Kashan Griffin.

We're delighted that rapper "Mugsy" and his Producer/co writer Seth Hartman will have a song called "Fossil" on De Grassi: The Next Generation. Also, Missing will be using the song "Good-bye" in Episodes 13 and 14; co written by Seth Hartman and Shy Hart.

Congratulations to ACID HICKS on getting their song "Love Never Fails(To Let Me Down)" on DeGrassi:The Next Generation. The song was also used in the show's promo for that episode.

We also gotta hand it to the incredible songwriting talents of Johnny Douglas, Jr. who has two songs placed on DeGrassi as well: "Boom" and "Blue Skies".

Scooter Pietsch had two blues songs on two episodes of the NBC Soap "Passions" September 14th & 15th...songs were "OK Chest Feel" and "Just Leave". If you're in NYC on October 29th, catch Composer Sharon Farber's piece "ASHKINA." T his piece was premiered last October and was so enthusiastically received that she was invited back to have it performed again at a two day music festival.
