Here's the Holiday schedule for IFMP songs on The Young & Restless after the ones on the 17th:
On Dec. 22 you'll hear Johnny Douglas Jr. singing his original song "Snowman", followed by three of Steve Glotzers' acoustic instrumentals "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "Oh Come Emmanuel" and "Away in a Manger.
Don't touch that dial because you'll also hear Scooter Pietsch's "Family & Sleigh Bells" along with Fawn and Vince Covello's version of "Angels We Have Heard on High."
On the 23rd of December, the instrumentals include Sharon Farber with "Hark The Herald Angels Sing", "Away in A Manger" and "Deck The Halls" from Steve Glotzer; and Joel Evans brings us a vocal version of "What Child Is This."
We'll get to hear Smokin Jazz versions of "Deck The Halls" and "Joy To The World" from Dominick Serpico again on December 24th, followed by Steve Glotzer's "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and "O Come All Ye Faithful". Same day, Geoffrey Keezer's "Angels Did Swing" will keep you listening and watching the show and at the very end, a beautiful rendition of "Silent Night" arranged by Sharon Farber and sung by Jacob Mitchell.
After you've eaten your figgy pudding and tossed out the boxes, Y&R gives us two more from Scooter Pietsch on the 28th of Dec..."Gift Wrap" and "Snow Surprise."
Rounding out the holiday music on Y&R was Michael Kisur singing his original song "Christmas Dream."

On December 17th, you'll hear Michael Kisur singing a Kool Kat version of Jingle Bells arranged by Michael and Edgard Jaude. Also on that day Steve Glotzer's acoustic version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" will be on the show, along with two songs sung by Jeff Meegan -- "Seasons of Love" and "All I'm Waiting For." Jeff wrote "Seasons of Love" and Brad Hatfield is his co-writer on "All I'm Waiting For."

The Polish Brothers' (The Astronaut Farmer) have licensed "Backporch Bluegrass Rag" for their new film "The Smell of Success" (fna 'Manure'). Crew 22's Tommy Hannum (artist), Rodney Lawson and John Mattick are the songs writers. The comedy stars Billy Bob Thornton and Tea Leoni.

GREEK SEASON 2
ABC Family's hit series "Greek" begins again on August 26th and the first episode of the season
kicks off with "My Bottom", written by Johnny Elkins and Mark Scott McKinney and performed by
"Aleesha". This is a featured song with a choreographed dance/lip sync from the "naughty"
sorority girls. The following episode of Greek will have Above Envy's "Shy Girl", by writer Louis Yoelin,
in a party scene. Louis is doing really well with recent placements on The Young and The Restless and
an upcoming feature "Killer Movie."

Michael Bacon is an Emmy Award-Winning composer. He's also had songs recordeed by artists from Jerry Lee Lewis to Perry Como.

score in the film When Nietzsche Wept, and now she's the first woman composer to grace the the cover of Film Music Magazine.
She was also recently commissioned by The Israel Symphony Orchestra to compose a new orchestral work for their 2007 season.

UK rockers "Jack Viper" have two songs coming out in the new horror film "Zombie Wars"...songs are "Spider To The Fly" and "G. F. Y.". The British foursome has a new video coming out as well.

Johnny Douglas Jr. has had two songs placed on two episodes of the Emmy winning series Come Home For Christmas and Don't Make This White Christmas Blue. And while the Turkey is defrosting, Wednesday evening, November 22nd, on the new ABC Drama THE NINE, you can hear Tommy Holmes' song Love Can Save Us All. And we are very thankful, indeed.

Yet another placement for the talented singer/songwriter, the Donatella song "DAEYA" (written by Donna Rawlins and Eliot Waldhorn) has been placed in the New Line Feature Film "MR. WOODCOCK", starring Susan Sarandon and Billy Bob Thornton. You can find the song on her CD, Donatella: Under The Moon.

The holidays were a little merrier with a track from Steve Bauman "12 Days of Christmas" and an arrangement of by Sharon Farber sung by the incredible Adam Lambert, both on NBC's "PASSIONS", as well as an arrangements she did of "Oh Holy Night" and "Silent Night" for Mercer Mall.
Kicking off '06, FIASCO's song "Its Going On" aired on INSTANT STAR (the DeGrassi High School spinoff). The song was co-written by Eliot Waldhorn and Kashan Griffin.
We're delighted that rapper "Mugsy" and his Producer/co writer Seth Hartman will have a song called "Fossil" on De Grassi: The Next Generation. Also, Missing will be using the song "Good-bye" in Episodes 13 and 14; co written by Seth Hartman and Shy Hart.
Congratulations to ACID HICKS on getting their song "Love Never Fails(To Let Me Down)" on DeGrassi:The Next Generation. The song was also used in the show's promo for that episode.
We also gotta hand it to the incredible songwriting talents of Johnny Douglas, Jr. who has two songs placed on DeGrassi as well: "Boom" and "Blue Skies".
Scooter Pietsch had two blues songs on two episodes of the NBC Soap "Passions" September 14th & 15th...songs were "OK Chest Feel" and "Just Leave". If you're in NYC on October 29th, catch Composer Sharon Farber's piece "ASHKINA." T his piece was premiered last October and was so enthusiastically received that she was invited back to have it performed again at a two day music festival.
